The following is a partial list of policies and procedures intended to provide our members a safe, friendly, efficient and effective atmosphere in which to achieve their fitness goals. It is not meant to be an all-inclusive list, but rather a reminder of some of the important daily protocols to be followed in conjunction with common sense and common courtesy.

All members are required to have their picture taken for access verification and security. Members, guests, or family members must enter and exit from the main entrance. Members must register with the front desk by scanning their ID key tag prior to using the facilities, at which point the front desk staff will verify the member's photo on the computer. Failure to bring your ID tag three times in a 30-day period will result in a $5 fine that will be donated to charity. Replacement key tags are $3.00..

Guest privileges are permitted for those who pay the published daily guest fee. Must be 18 years or older. Management reserves the right to occasionally waive this fee in the interest of promoting the Club and providing good will to its members. Guests are required to fill out the Guest Waiver and abide by all Club Policies and Procedures.

Members are urged to avoid bringing valuables onto Club premises. Management, its affiliates, agents or employees shall not be liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal property of members or guests.

All members are expected to wear proper attire when using the Club. Appropriate clothing and footwear must be worn at all times. Management reserves the right to decide what attire is appropriate and in the best interest of its membership. E.g. String tank tops or sandals are not permitted.

There is a 30-minute time limit on all cardiovascular equipment during peak hours.

Members are required to bring their own locks. Lockers may not be used overnight. Items left overnight will be subject to removal.

Members are required to rack all weights and dumbbells immediately after use. Do not drop free weights or dumbbells on floor.

Anyone requesting to "work in" on a piece of equipment must be allowed to do so. Please do not "tie up" multiple pieces of equipment.

All gym bags and other personal belongings should be kept in a locker. These items present a tripping hazard when they are on the fitness floor.

Members are not permitted to bring their own personal trainer. Only trainers on staff may train members at Mitch's Market Street Gym.

All Orientations must be used within one month of enrollment.

Children under the age of 12 are not permitted up on the fitness floor. Children ages 12-15 years of age must go through an orientation with one of Mitch's trainers prior to utilizing the equipment in the fitness center. Children ages 12-13 years of age must be one-on-one with their parent working out in order to be permitted on the fitness floor. It is highly recommended that all members go through an orientation with one of our trainers prior to beginning an exercise program at Mitch's Market Street Gym.

Mitch's reserves the right to remove any person when necessary without prior notice that is blatantly disregarding Mitch's Policies and Procedures or House Rules or for any conduct which in the opinion of Management is prejudicial to the welfare, good order and character of Mitch's Market Street Gym. Those individuals will be subject to suspension or termination of their membership privileges as per paragraph #7 of the Membership Agreement.

All membership cancellations must adhere to the parameters set forth in your original membreship agreement. If you do not still have a copy of that document a copy of Section 9 pertaining to the proper method of cancelling a membership, may be obtained at the front desk, or we can email one to you at your request.

The circulating or posting of petitions, notices, circulars, statements of any kind, or group protest or picketing is prohibited on the Club premises unless previously approved by management.
